What’s gone (O que se foi)
What’s gone is really gone
and if something is still there
it’s just a bitter mark
on the dark landscape.
If what’s gone it is coming back now
brings a killing mistake:
it needs only
to be real.
In the spite of that, what’s gone
if it returns, it looks like Death.
Then, why does it make
my heart beat stronger?
